The idea
There are plenty of professional networking spaces. I wanted one that felt a little less formal and a lot more welcoming: a place to ask questions, share opportunities, talk about work and connect with people who get the industry.

00:05 — Case study
My own community · LiveA community for women in Social, PR, Advertising and Marketing.
A community I started to bring together women working in the creative and marketing industries. What began as a single LinkedIn post turned into a growing WhatsApp community where women connect, share opportunities, exchange resources and support each other.
The idea
There are plenty of professional networking spaces. I wanted one that felt a little less formal and a lot more welcoming: a place to ask questions, share opportunities, talk about work and connect with people who get the industry.
The challenge
Build a community from scratch, attract the right members and give them a reason to keep coming back.
The spark
I tested the idea with one LinkedIn post: ‘Would you join? Comment SPAM.’ The response was so big that LinkedIn started flagging my DMs.
